Kids Taking Kids on a Training Hike

Pack Goats

Were Designed by Grandchildren

Treat your children and yourself to an active, fun and educational hike in the Black Hills.  Learn about forest-animal behavior, plants, weather, GPS orienteering, forest ecology, and see geology first hand.  The Pack Goats would love to carry the really cool rocks your children will find along the trail.

Our Pack Goats are
Earning their  Ph.D.

It takes four years of special training for a Pack Goat to earn his "Packgoat-hiking Diploma."  That makes him an obedient, loyal and skillful trail companion.

Pack goats delight in their role.  They hike along carrying all our gear and refreshments.  There is a reason goats are the most common 4-H project for children.

Pack Goats are affectionate and disciplined and they crave approval.  They are extraordinary pets.

Pack Goats are athletes!  Children are amazed by the comical antics and rock-climbing gymnastics of playful young Pack Goats' .

Call about upcoming dates for special Science-walks for grandchildren and grandparents.  Each Sciencewalk is led by a Ph.D. scientist (but we don't train them as much as Ph.D. Pack Goats).

There's a reason they're both called "kids"
